What is Student of the Month? |

Every month during the school year – September through May - The South Tipton County Chamber of Commerce honors a student of the month from Brighton High School, Munford High School and Tipton-Rosemark Academy. This student is selected by the administration at each school, following guidelines set up by the Chamber. Students and their parents are invited to a breakfast reception at the Chamber Office. Each student makes a short speech about his or her accomplishments, receives a plaque and is photographed for the newspaper. At the end of the year, the Chamber honors all of the students at a breakfast. At that event, each school's selection of Student of the Year is announced. Each student is presented a $500 scholarship and a plaque. Terry Colin is Education Coordinator for the Student of the Month Program. |
