Primary acute care is offered at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton. Experienced medical staff and physicians provide quality care in Anesthesiology, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pathology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry, Radiology and Urology. Other services include lithotripsy, an open MRI and a Sleep Lab.

Quality residential care is provided at Parkway Cove Assisted Living, by Americare Systems. Parkway Cove extends its services to both older adults and those who are in transition from hospital back to their homes. Parkway Cove looks to provide a comfortable living environment that is fulfilling and dignified – a place to call "home". It is an excellent alternative to living alone with the cares and worries of a house or apartment.

The Tipton County Adult Day/Respite Service, "The Club", is a licensed social model adult day service with planned activities designed especially for persons with memory disorders and for the frail elderly. It is funded by the Tipton County Commission on Aging, the Brookdale Foundation, Tipton County Government and private donations. The Club is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. inside the Covington Senior Center.

South Tipton County is home to numerous health care facilities with state-of-the art equipment. This is evidenced by the number of physicians located here which currently includes 20 physicians, six dentists, and three optometrists. In addition, South Tipton County is in close proximity (18 miles) to Memphis, Tennessee, one of the largest medical centers in the country.
